A bottle of quick detailer, some tissues and a couple of clean microfibres.

Spray on, then leave for a minute, spray again and then wipe off.

If no joy, spray on the detailer, put over the top a tissue folded over and then add another spray, leave for a couple of minutes and then remove the tissue, add another spray and wipe off.

Don’t wipe hard as birds eat small bits of gravel to help make harder egg shells and there will be fine grains of gravel in their faeces which will do further damage to the clearcote.

The good thing about a Quick Detailer is it's got a cleaning element to it as well as a protecting element.

Oh it’s an XJ!  I thought it was an XF in the photo . XJs are awesome, very underrated. Wish I saw more of them on the road
